New Release: The Delicacies Collection - Ideo Parfumeurs
I admit, I wasn’t familiar with Ideo Parfumeurs before spotting the launch info for their new launch The Delicacies Collection, and it has well and truly piqued my interest.
The house is described as “born in Lebanon, made in France”, and The Delicacies Collection is a trio of scents inspired by iconic Lebanese pastries: baklava, maamoul, and ashta. If you have tastebuds like mine this will have interested you on description alone.
I’m expecting notes like pistachio, almond, rose water, and orange blossom. This hints at a textured gourmand experience.
It’s an evocative concept; one that taps into flavour, memory, and cultural richness. I haven’t had the chance to smell them yet, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye (and nose) out for samples.
